A place where everybody fits in...
London. The capital where there is no such thing as 'out of place', more.. ' wear anything and be anything. There is always a place you fit.' I see fashion as being pieces of fine art. Individual style choices that let us know who they really are. Personalities come shining through and indicate the type of person you are and your lifestyle. Fashion, Art, music and writing. That sums me up. Who I am, What I am. What I do. What I live for. Along with Family, friends and love of course. Who doesn't live for that. Walking through the streets of london make me aware of different fashions, different, personalites, different types of culture. Fashion, states indidualism and uniqueness. It is a symbol of what you like, and how confident you are. I like to think i am a confident person. A brave person. I guess life tests that strength doesn't it??
A maxi dress and a touch of denim
During my hours of work yesterday, a pretty blond haired young lady brushed past me. wearing a cream mazi dress with red and green flowers delicately printed all over, and working a 'just past the bust' length, light blue, worn denim jacket, and I must say it worked perfectly.

The combination looked stunning! And immediately made me want to follow the trend. Topshop really does bring in some great looks, definately the perfect summer fashion trends.

Wait.. Daventry is beautiful..
Going home, I couldn't wait to spend the little time I had with my family. Even If my sister was on a school trip to Germany. Wasn't too fussed about the place though. Leading up to uni I couldn't wait to get out. I felt trapped and needed some space. Even though at the time I was madly in love with someone. A friend, a boyfriend. A soulmate. Now, I'd give anything to go back. Sat here, on my train back to euston. Sitting in my window seat and looking out at the sun gleaming down. It made me think. Daventry is actually quite beautiful. Whatever time of day. I remember when I used to lay in fields, and stare up at the stars taking over the sky. Stunning. Powerful. Romantic. Iv tried that here in london. But its not quite the same. Nowhere near actually. As this train is moving so fast yet the outside looks like its slowly trudging forward. It makes you stop and think. About life and where its heading. Where its come from. Life can be painful but rewarding. Beautiful and ugly too. Where am I heading ? I ask myself that a lot. I hope its to success. To a life full of happiness and excitement, good health and passion. Love. Aren't we all looking for that love that overtakes everything else ? That love that lasts forever. Doesn't everyone ? ..

A wolfpack without the sledge
Ok, so I do have my very own wolfpack of huskies. I have five to be exact. All different in colours and size. Some have blue eyes, some have amber, some have brown. I have always been seen 'cool' that I have huskies, expecially five of them. So here is a little bit of info on them.
BLITZ

Yehh, he definately looks scary to most people. BUT. He is one big softie. This is the Daddy :)
AKELA

The Mum of the pack.
STORM

We rescued this husky. He had been badly treated and it took a while for him to come round. Now, he is a happy doggy with the others in the pack.
TIKANNI

LOVES sleeping behind the couch!
MISHKA

This girl will cuddle up to your feet and follow you throughout the day.
A Siberian Husky Poem
Why own a Siberian Husky dog? There’s a danger you know,
you can’t own just one, for the craving will grow.
There’s no doubt they’re addictive, wherein lies the danger,
while living with lots you’ll grow poorer and stranger.
One husky’s not trouble and two are so funny,
the third one is easy, the fourth one’s a honey.
The fifth is delightful and the sixth one’s a breeze,
you find you can live with a houseful, with ease.
So how ‘bout another? Would you really dare?
They’re really quite easy, but oh Lord, the hair!
With sibes on the sofa and sibes on the bed
and crates in the kitchen, it’s no bother, you said.
They’re really no trouble, their manners are great,
what are just one more husky and one more little crate?
The sofa is hairy, the windows are crusty, the floor is all footprints, the furniture’s dusty,
the housekeeping suffers, but what do you care?
Who minds a few nose prints and a little more hair?
So let’s keep a puppy, you can always find room
and a little more time for the dust cloth and broom.
There’s hardly a limit to the sibes you can add,
the thought of a cutback, sure makes you feel sad.
Each one is special, so useful and funny, the food bill grows larger, you owe the vet money.
Your folks never visit and few friends come to stay,
except other sibe folks, who live the same way.
Your lawn has now died and the shrubs are dead too,
your weekends are busy, you’re off with your crew.
There’s sibe food and vitamins, training and shots,
accessories and treats which cost lots and lots.
Is it worth it you wonder? Are you caught in a trap?
Then that favourite comes up and climbs in your lap.
His look says you’re special and you know that you will,
keep all of the critters in spite of the bill.
Some just for showing, and some just to breed,
all are for loving, each one fills a need.
Winter is a hassle, but the sibes love it true,
and they must have their walks though you are numb and blue.
Late evening is awful, you scream and you shout,
at the sibes on the sofa, who refuse to go out.
The adults and the puppies, the fun times, the thrills,
the work and the worry, the pressures, the bills.
The whole thing seems worth it, the sibes are your life,
they’re charming and funny and offset the strife.
Your lifestyle has changed, things just won’t be the same,
yes those sibes are addictive, and so is the dog game!

The Job that earns me the pennies & allows me to stare at clothes all day

I currently work for Zoola Fish ltd which is a fish spa concession within Topshop Oxford circus store. Yes, that means looking at people's feet all day whilst they make outrageous screams while they put their feet in a tank filled with fish. Nice.
To be quite honest, it's an easy, straightforward job. I assist the customer whilst they prepare themselves to take the plunge which seems to make everybody's mind inquisitive, I then time them for their 15 minute session. with the clock ticking away I observe and absorb the wierd and wonderful fashion's that parade around Topshop. Men, Women, children - all sporting individual styles and trends.
<<< If im honest. Putting your feet in a tank filled with fish nibbling away at your feet for a 'massage' really would have disgusted me. I don't even like going in the sea! However, on my first shift I took the 'plunge' and rather enjoyed it. Surprising. EVEN TV CELEBS WANNA GIVE IT A GO!
Yep. Believe it or not we have even had some celebs in the store to do it too.
The most recent being Holby City's 'Chrissie Williams' otherwise known as Tina Hobley. She popped into the store working a gorgous outfit consisting of red skinny jeans, a white blouse and black jacket. Along with minimal jewlerry, some beige/brown jimmy choos and a prada bag. Stunning.

Celebs have been spotted around Topshop a fair bit. Dianna Vickers. Beyonce. Page Richardson and also Katy B.

Coming from nowhere, to somewhere.
Being a 20 year old female, and having lived most of my life in a small town of nothingness otherwise known as Daventry, coming to the big city of bright lights, drama and excitement hit me like the stiletto you wear for hours on a night out for the first time. Shockingly gorgeous yet sore from the hustle and bustle, the ongoing drama and hours of observing and taking in the city known as London. This, was my new home.

Univeristy being the reason it brought me to London, meant getting out there and seeing the creativity, immersing myself in it and using it. My reason behind it all - FASHION.
Prada, Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Chanel and many more designers out there begging me to divulge into the insane and dangerous world known as fashion. So that is what I did. I went out there and I walked the streets of London. Absorbing the history behind it and opening my eyes to a world I never knew was so powerful and beautiful before.
